Most standard sedans cost between $700 and $1,600 to ship, depending on distance, route popularity, vehicle size and time of year. Coast-to-coast open transport for a mid-size car typically runs $1,100–$1,500. Your quote from us is all-inclusive — fuel, insurance, taxes and door-to-door service are built in.

As a rule of thumb: 1–3 days for trips under 500 miles, 4–6 days for 500–1,500 miles, and 7–10 days coast to coast. We'll give you a pickup window when you book and a live ETA once your vehicle is on the truck.

Yes. Every carrier in our network holds active cargo insurance — a minimum of $250,000 on open carriers and up to $1,000,000 on enclosed trailers. We verify certificates before dispatch, and your vehicle is inspected and documented at both pickup and delivery.

You may load up to 100 lbs of personal items in the trunk or below the window line. Items above that aren't covered by cargo insurance, and federal rules prohibit shipping household goods in vehicles, so keep it light.

Yes. Just let us know when you request your quote. Inoperable vehicles require a carrier with a winch, which adds a modest fee, but we move project cars, auction purchases and mechanically-down vehicles every day.

Open transport carries your vehicle on an open multi-car trailer — it's the industry standard, safe, and the most affordable option. Enclosed transport seals your vehicle inside a hard-sided trailer, protecting it from weather and road debris. Enclosed usually costs 40–60% more and is the right call for luxury, classic and exotic vehicles.

You or someone you authorize (18+) must be present to sign the inspection report and hand over / receive the keys. Many customers designate a family member, neighbor or building manager.

Nothing is due until a carrier is assigned to your order. Most customers place a small portion on a card at dispatch and pay the balance to the driver at delivery by cash, cashier's check or money order. Full prepayment by card is also available.
